Seymore Welding & Mechanical is a company founded in 2005, and located in Baltimore, Maryland. We specialize in metal welding, metal fabrication, and steel erections. Our 10,000 sq. ft. workshop houses every tool and machine type we need to get your welding project done. Our team of experts is in a state of constant growth—we only hire skilled metal workers. We are a proud minority-owned business, with various certificates such as:

A Word About Our Owner
Kevin Seymore has served as President of Seymore Welding & Mechanical since 2005. He has more than 30 years of experience as a foreman and fitter in the metal industry. He has worked with J. M. Christ and Green Contracting Company, one of the premier heavy mechanical contractors in the Mid-Atlantic region. He also served as foreman with Specialized Metals, Inc., a full line metal service center, specializing in rare and exotic metals.
Mr. Seymore has taken advanced studies in blueprint reading from Dundalk Community College. In 1986, he received his welding certification, and completed the School of Construction Management program with the Turner Construction Company in May 2012; he also completed the Clark Construction Strategic Partnership program in June 2012.
Seymore Welding & Mechanical is dedicated to continual process improvement. Skilled Welder
Job Description
Welder/Fabricator positions available for qualified applicants. Applicants must be able to weld and erect steel. Applicants will undergo a welding test before being given a job offer.Required Skills
Responsibilities:- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.
- Install and repair various equipment and components.
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
- Certified with a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures (Stick, Tig, Mig, and Flux Core welding.)
- Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics, measuring skills, fitting experience, Sheathing/Shearing, & experience framing.
- Ability to handle physical workload and work with heights not exceeding 25 ft.
